Camano dog wash: The Friends of the Camano Animal Shelter Association are hosting their ninth annual dog wash fundraiser Saturday. It’s the largest fundraiser of the year for the nonprofit that supports the Camano shelter.
The dog wash is to be held in the parking lot near the shelter at 198 Can Ku Road. The event starts at 11 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. It costs $8 to $12 per bath, depending on the size of the dog. Puppy manicures will be available for an additional fee. All proceeds go to the animal shelter, which will be open that day for adoptions. For more information, call the shelter at 360-387-1902.
