Everett dentist earns certification in dental sleep medicine
Everett dentist Donald Crow, founder of Everett Dental Solutions for Sleep, is the fifth dentist in Washington state to become an American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine Diplomate. Earning Diplomate status is an honor that recognizes special competency and experience in dental sleep medicine. Crow is a long-time provider of oral appliance therapy, an alternative to traditional CPAP for sleep apnea.
EdCC president attends STEM conference in San Diego
Edmonds Community College president Jean Hernandez was a presenter at the 2015 U.S. News STEM Solutions Conference on June 29 in San Diego. The theme of the conference was Teach, Inspire, Hire: Discovering and Growing America’s Diverse Talent Pool with special emphasis on helping underrepresented populations and underserved communities. Hernandez presented during the Community Colleges: STEM’s Secret Weapon session.
