BELLINGHAM — Western Washington University says no one was injured in a Tuesday afternoon chemical fire in the school’s chemistry building.
University spokesman Paul Cocke says the fire happened at about 5 p.m. and was quickly extinguished.
Fire officials are checking the building to make sure it’s safe to re-enter. Cocke says the cause and nature of the fire is being investigated.
