BELLEVUE — Eight people were injured Thursday in a multiple-car crash in suburban Bellevue.
KOMO-TV reports the crash just before noon Thursday began with one vehicle crossing into oncoming traffic on NE 8th Street, a major thoroughfare through the city.
The vehicle crashed into at least two other vehicles before spinning out of control and hitting a pedestrian on the sidewalk.
Police say a total of eight people, ranging in ages from 4 to 56-years-old, suffered minor injuries. The driver was among those injured, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The street was closed near Crossroads Mall for about four hours.
