Mamma mia chia is hot.
You can find chia, the nutrient-rich seeds, in items from baked goods to beverages. One of the first mass producers was Mamma Chia, which became famous for its chia beverages, but is now kicking that door wide open.
Just in time for back-to-school, Mamma Chia recently unveiled Chia Vitality Granola ($6.49 per bag) and Chia Squeeze ($1.69 per packet), two items perfect for kids on the go. Both items are chock full of Omega-3s and fiber, and are gluten free.
For a pick-me-up for mom and dad, there’s Mamma Chia Clean Energy Beverage ($2.99 per bottle). Made with organice fruit juice, the 10-ounce drink is the first to combine chia and guayusa, which has a unique balance of natural caffeine, antioxidants and vitamins.
