Head coach: Bill Marsh (second season)

Key returners: Jaden Sheffey, soph., QB/FS; Caleb Freed, sr., OL/LB; Noah Anglin, sr., WR/LB

Word from the coach: “We return three starters on the offensive line and (quarterback Jaden) Sheffey, who started — and won — the game against Sultan last year. We are moving to more of a triple-option attack to utilize our team speed. We must stay healthy because depth will become an issue. Our starters can compete against most of the teams in this league, but will stamina become a problem with eight two-way players? It’s been a fantastic offseason, including growth from four to 12 (assistant coaches) on my staff. Defense is anchored in the secondary and linebackers by all returning players. Up front is where the issues will lie.”

My message to the team is that we will do everything in our power to maximize those things that we can control. With that, the expectation is that we are physical and we should expect to win week in and week out.”
