This letter is written with the continued concern for the Marysville Pilchuck High School Students, regarding the 2014 devastation for them. I read in Tuesday’s paper that the official report of the shootings is being released. A lawyer is involved in trying to protect one of these children. In my opinion, the people in community, state and nation have done a superior job with their efforts and pursuit of the protection endeavor. I am heartbroken regarding singling out one of these students, with an attempt to protect this child from harm’s way. This should not even be a topic of conversation. If we truly are protecting these individuals, all of them should be considered. Please lawyers and judges, let us get on with the task at hand, so that these kids can move forward. Each of these lives really does matter, today and 20 years from today. Healing is first and foremost for everyone of them.
