This is in regard to the recent article in the paper as to how to increase the attendance at the Monroe Evergreen State Fair. Cut the cost of the $10 parking fee. To do this, the fee should be charged according to age and number of people in the car. If 65 or older, $2.50 off for each person. Anyone else, $1 off. After you are inside, if they would cut the cost of the food by 50 cents, it would help. Next to the parking, the amusement rides are the worst. They could deduct $1 a ride. Just these three things would increase attendance.
