Zimmerman threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns in the Bearcats’ 55-6 season-opening win over Oak Harbor.

Anthany Smith

Mariner, RB

Smith scored four touchdowns — two on rushes, one on a 20-yard pass reception and another on a 64-yard punt return — in the Marauders’ close 34-31 loss to Mountlake Terrace.

Justin Guffey

Glacier Peak, WR/KR

The senior caught nine passes for 141 yards and two touchdowns, returned two kickoffs for touchdowns and threw a 17-yard touchdown pass in the Grizzlies’ 42-25 win over crosstwon rival Snohomish.

David Woodard

Edmonds-Woodway, WR

Woodward had 11 catches for 150 yards – including two touchdowns – to help Edmonds-Woodway defeat Jackson 21-13 in both teams’ season opener.

Anfernee Gurley

Archbishop Murphy, RB

The junior ran for 146 yards and two touchdowns on just four carries as the Wildcats defeated Notre Dame (Vancouver, B.C.) 56-0 to start the season.

Collin Montez

Marysville Getchell, RB/QB/DB

The junior had an interception return for a touchdown, rushed for 115 yards and threw for 87 yards and two touchdowns to account for 292 all-purpose yards in the Chargers’ 29-26 victory over Auburn Riverside.

Mikey Jenson

Mountlake Terrace, QB

The senior was 8-for-11 for 177 yards and three touchdowns and added 75 yards rushing on 28 carries in Mountlake Terrace’s season-opening 34-31 win over Mariner.

Asi Tupua

Lake Stevens, RB

The senior running back ran 21 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns to lead Lake Stevens to a 49-21 win over Meadowdale.
