Up in the sky: Vintage Aircraft Weekend is from Friday to Sunday at the Historic Flight Foundation, 10719 Bernie Webber Drive, Mukilteo. You can see planes from the golden age of aviation, including a B-25 bomber. Beach time: This is the final weekend for the ferry to Jetty Island. The ferry runs 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday at 10th Street and W. Marine View Dr., Everett. Cost is $3 for parking. Suggested donation $2 for adults, $1 for kids.

Gardening: Meerkerk Gardens on Whidbey Island is having a Labor Day sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. During the sale, entrance to the garden is free.
