ASHBURN, Va. — The Washington Redskins signed free agent tight end Anthony McCoy, who hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2012 season.
The Redskins announced Monday that they added McCoy and waived cornerback Deshazor Everett. The team also signed fullback Ray Agnew and linebacker Ryan Delaire to its practice squad.
McCoy’s contract was terminated by the Seattle Seahawks on Saturday, the deadline for NFL teams to reduce rosters to 53 players.
Until signing him, Washington had only two tight ends on the roster: Jordan Reed and Derek Carrier.
