Mountlake Terrace City Council incumbent Bryan Wahl is running unopposed in the Nov. 3 general election.
Wahl is running for his first full four-year term after winning election to the last two years of the unexpired term for the position that he first won by appointment.
The position is one of three Mountlake Terrace Council positions on the November ballot.
Wahl has sent this statement introducing himself to voters:

Bryan Wahl: Bryan Wahl has lived in Mountlake Terrace for the past 18 years. As a small business owner, establishing Wahl Strategies in 1991, Bryan has the unique capability to develop innovative solutions. One of his greatest strengths is his ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow policy-makers and interested stakeholders, while working toward consensus on significant issues.
After serving on the Planning Commission for 14 years, Bryan was appointed to the City Council in 2012 and elected in 2013. As a Councilmember, Bryan’s priorities include policies that increase our jobs and economic vitality, quality city services, and ensure responsible and sustainable budgets that direct resources efficiently and effectively to achieve the city’s vision.
While serving on the Planning Commission, Bryan listened and developed plans that reflect the vision our citizens have for Mountlake Terrace. On the City Council, Bryan is implementing those plans and taking steps to realize our dreams.
Bryan serves on the city’s Finance Committee and Transportation Benefit District Board. He also serves on Snohomish County’s Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, the Economic Alliance of Snohomish County’s Advocacy Board, Snohomish County Cities Finance Committee, and Puget Sound Regional Council’s Executive Board and Transit Oriented Development Advisory Committee.
