EDMONDS — Marketing campaigns can be a good thing, especially if one involves good food.
The debut of “Dine Out Edmonds,” a promotion that features seven of Edmonds nicest restaurants, is on now through Sept. 30.
Chanterelle, Epulo Bistro, Girardi’s Osteria, The Loft, Salt &Iron, Demetri’s Woodstone Taverna, Bar Dojo and Scott’s Bar &Grill are the participating restaurants. They are offering three-course dinner menus for $30 on Sundays through Thursdays. The lineup of cuisines includes Asian comfort food, Mediterranean fare, rustic Italian and steak and seafood.
Chefs have been assigned a pumpkin theme and each restaurant has included at least one dish that features pumpkin.
According to the promotion, “Lest you think chefs took the easy way out and simply created salads with pepitas or whipped up basic pumpkin desserts…,” a sample of some of the featured dishes includes spinach pumpkin risotto, pumpkin curry with prawns, roasted duck breast with pumpkin gratin,and prawns with pumpkin gnocchi.
