Jesikah Sundin

Noon, Sept. 19, Uppercase

Award-winning Monroe author Jesikah Sundin plans to talk about the story behind “Elements,” the second installment in her “The Biodome Chronicles” trilogy, and sign copies of the novel from noon to 4 p.m. at Uppercase Bookstore, 1010 Second St., Suite B, Snohomish. Youth cultures collide as The Biodome Chronicles continue in a compelling quest for truth, forging a story rich in mystery, betrayal and love. Sundin lives in Monroe with her husband and three children. “Legacy” was the 1996 Monroe High School graduate’s debut novel and winner of four literary awards in science fiction and young adult fiction.

Jeff Obermeyer

7 p.m. Sept. 22, Third Place Books

Obermeyer will talk about his book “Seattle Totems.” Before major-league professional sports came to the Northwest, Seattle had a rich minor-league sports history. Led by Guyle Fielder, the Totems won three Western Hockey League championships. The book store is located at 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park.

Bruce Meyers
