Following Seattle’s 34-31 overtime loss at St. Louis on Sunday, there was some speculation as to whether that may spur the Seahawks and Kam Chancellor to resolve their differences. Especially considering the game’s key play saw Chancellor’s replacement, Dion Bailey, slip as the Rams scored the tying touchdown with 53 seconds remaining in regulation.
However, it would seem that wasn’t the case:
The loss didn’t change things, so holdout continues for #Seahawks S Kam Chancellor. He’s not in Seattle, ‘Hawks will play without him again

Wednesday is day 48 of Chancellor’s holdout. Last week Pete Carroll indicated that if Chancellor wasn’t back with the team by Wednesday, he wouldn’t play that week. Therefore, it would seem Chancellor will be unavailable again this week, even if by some miracle the sides reached an agreement later in the week.
Each week Chancellor holds out he forfeits one-seventeenth of his $4.55 million salary, which equates to $267,647.
