Make a run for the border — of Spain: Seeking to class up its fast-food image, Taco Bell will serve wine, beer and tapas-style appetizers at locations in Chicago and San Francisco later this month.
Thanks to the wine, beer and tapas, Taco Bell’s image will still be of stoner-friendly fast food — but it will be a little blurrier, and served on smaller plates.
Take that, merchants of death: The Food and Drug Administration has banned sales of four cigarette brands from R.J. Reynolds because the smokes do not meet the agency’s safety requirements.
Talk about a Catch-22. Because ceasing to exist is the only way cigarettes could meet any safety requirement.
You call this redemption? In his first on-camera gig since his from “NBC Nightly News” in February, Brian Williams will anchor MSNBC’s coverage of Pope Francis’ visit to the United States next week.
