SEATTLE — Seattle police have arrested 2 more suspects in connection with the attack and robbery of three tourists from Rhode Island in downtown Seattle.
The Seattle Times reported that detectives learned Monday a 27-year-old female suspect was in King County Jail on unrelated charges. After questioning the woman, police booked her back into jail for investigation of robbery and assault.
Detectives also arrested a 25-year-old man Wednesday for investigation of robbery and assault.
Seattle police previously arrested a 17-year-old boy in the attack. Romeyo Marquce Wilturner has pleaded not guilty to robbery charges in adult court.
Two women and a man were robbed Aug. 24 by a group of people as they walked to the entrance of the downtown bus tunnel. All were battered, but not seriously injured.
