Textile drive: Camano Chapel, 867 S. West Camano Drive, will be collecting textile donations 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sept. 22. Clothes for the Cause will take donated clothing, shoes, hats, towels and more, in any condition, and give a donation based on the amount gathered to Camano Chapel to benefit its Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) program. Comedy show: Ken Davis, a family friendly comedian, performs at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at Arlington High School’s Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd. The show benefits Hope Unlimited, a faith-based nonprofit in Stanwood that provides chaplains during fire and police emergencies as well as life-skills classes for single-parent families.
