MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Two men were arrested Wednesday in connection with a shooting last week near Monroe. Three other suspects are at large, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
The victim, a 38-year-old Monroe man, was found unresponsive in a doorway last week along Florence Acres Road. An update on his condition was not provided Wednesday.
A police task force was in Mountlake Terrace on Wednesday morning looking for suspects. There was a confrontation with a group of men. At one point, one of them tried to flee in a car. A deputy who was trying to arrest the man was dragged by the car and sustained minor injuries, Ireton said. That happened in the 23100 block of 50th Avenue W.
One of the suspects being sought is believed to be driving a cream-colored 1991 Buick Regal. He was described as white and 6-foot-3, with brown hair and brown eyes. He is believed to be armed.
