With everyone bending over backward to toady up to President Xi, it seems they have forgotten the dismal human rights violations in China, the abysmal environmental record they have, the slaughtering of animals, not for food, but for their aphrodisiac potential. They typically vote against the U.S. every chance they have at the UN. The Boeing executives should be very concerned that China will soon be able to build their own airplanes, and if you think they will remain a Boeing customer, I have a bridge I would like to sell you.
Yet we continue to impose sanctions on Cuba, who are not nearly the threat that China poses, has not nearly the human rights record China has. No, it is all about the money. What’s that old expression, “money talks” and, well, you know the rest.
