Ghosts and goblins — and Donald Trumps.
Eeeks! Halloween is going to be hair-raising fun this year.
With Oct. 31 falling on a Saturday this year, it’s going to be a Hallo-weekend. You might need more than one costume for all those parties. No problem.
It’s easy to do the Donald. All you need is a comb-over blonde wig.
Online boutique Yandy.com is cashing in on Trump with a sexy “Donna T. Rumpshaker” costume with white shirt, red tie, blue faux blazer and booty shorts for $70, wig and “Making American Great” hat ($7.95) not included.
Other costumes trending are Caitlyn Jenner, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. Expect to hand out treats to Minions, Darth Vaders, Hillary Clintons and characters from “The Walking Dead” and “Frozen.”
Will traditional costumes trump Donald this year?
Value Village thrift stores’ Halloween Trend Report says 30 percent of people plan to stick to classic themes such as ghosts and witches.
Don’t forget to dress the pet. Hot dog, pumpkin and superhero costumes are popular for dogs. For cats, well, all you need to do is go to #TrumpYourCat for ideas.
Need help scaring up your costume? Value Village has trained “costume consultants” to assist and Halloween Costume Catwalk fashion shows at 3 p.m. every Thursday in October. More at www.valuevillage.com.
