Issac Jackson

Edmonds-Woodway | Football

Jackson, a senior, completed 15 of 19 passes for 229 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Warriors to the 27-10 Wesco 3A South win over previously unbeaten Mountlake Terrace.

Gabby Marlatt

Lake Stevens | Girls Swimming

Marlatt, a sophomore, is undefeated so far this season. She has qualified for state in three events (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterly) and last week won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke in the Vikings meet against Monroe. Her time of 59.67 in the butterfly was a state-qualifying time and just .11 seconds off the school record.

Yevgeniy Kolomiyets

Cascade | Boys Tennis

Kolomiyets scored victories over Jackson’s Bence Dare and Kamiak’s Jimmy Hua, who are two of the top players in Wesco 4A, last week. Kolomiyets, who placed behind Hua and Dare at districts last year, needed just two sets in both victories.

Rachel Hansen

Shorewood | Girls Cross Country

Hansen, a junior, placed third at the Nike Portland Cross Country Invitational at Portland Meadows this past Saturday, leading the girls varsity team to a first-place finish in the Division 3 varsity division. She finished the 5K race with a personal record time of 20:10.

Lauren Sanders

Glacier Peak | Volleyball

Sanders, a junior, broke the Grizzlies’ school record for kills in a match with 27 in last week’s five-set loss to Lynnwood.

Cassidy O’Dell

Lynnwood | Girls Soccer

O’Dell, a sophomore, scored both goals in a win over Shorewood and scored the Royals’ lone goal in a tie against Stanwood before breaking her foot for the second time this year minutes later.

Cullen McEachern

Kamiak | Boys Cross Country

McEachern finished first in a meet against Glacier Peak, Everett and Monroe last week with a time of 16:58. The Knights finished second as a team.
