Elvis tribute show in Everett raises $2,900 for charity
Nearly 200 people attended Tracy Alan Moore’s Elvis tribute show at the Historic Everett Theatre on Aug. 15. After expenses, the show generated nearly $2,900 for Guide Dogs of America. Moore is a member of Machinists Union Local Lodge 751-A, affiliated with Machinists Union District Lodge 751. Over six years, the union has raised more than $1.8 million for that charity.
Canlis Restaurant owner to speak at event benefiting homeless children
Vision House is holding a breakfast event from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m. Oct. 22 at the Lynnwood Convention Center. The event is to raise support for homeless families in the greater Puget Sound area. Kelly DuByne, owner of Lake Stevens-based Distinctive Interior Designs, announced the completion of the portfolio book commemorating the 20th anniversary of her business.
