BURLINGTON — Police say they have taken a 13-year-old boy with a pellet gun at an elementary school into custody.
The Skagit Valley Herald reported that Burlington police received a report Wednesday morning of a student entering a restroom at Lucille Umbarger Elementary School possibly with a pellet gun.
The school was locked down while officers responded to the report.
Police said they located the boy, who had a pellet gun, and took him into custody. They say he is a student at the school.
No one was injured in the incident and police are investigating.
