The City of Arlington is hosting its first annual Viking Fest and Pub Tour on Oct. 3.
After the family friendly portion of the event in the morning (for more, see page 19), the pub tour begins at 4 p.m. and runs through 10 p.m. Registration for the pub tour begins at 10 a.m. at Whiskey Ridge Brewery, 116 E. 5th St., Arlington, and costs $5. The pub tour is 21 and over.
Grab a Counquering Map, get stamps at local establishments like Mirkwood &Shire Cafe and Bad Dog Distillery, and return it to Whiskey Ridge to enter a raffle.
Whiskey Ridge owner and head brewer Jack Hatley said that the brewery is featuring its Red Bridge IPA, 42 Amber Ale, Clear Creek Kolsch and a cherry Belgian, which is brewed with fresh local cherries, this weekend.
