Regarding the news about the fatal crash involving the duck boat tour vehicle: My dad was in World War II. Whenever we saw old photos of amphibious “ducks,” he would often tell my brothers and I how “dangerous” they were. He sometimes had to “ride the ducks” in war time. That’s what they were originally built for. Whoever thought they would be put on crowded public streets?
