SPOKANE — A man hoping to connect with a woman he met at a concert told police he was visited instead by thee people who assaulted him and stole his pants, keys, phone and cash.
Police arrested one man who told officers that he believed the victim was disrespecting a woman he considered his mother. But the suspect said he wasn’t the person who punched the victim.
The victim told police he met a woman after a Huey Lewis and the News concert invited her to his room after she sent a text saying she wanted to see him.
The Spokesman-Review reported that the victim told police a younger woman and two men arrived. He reported that the two men punched him in the face, and one of his ankles was broken in the scuffle.
