HELENA, Mont. — A 51-year-old Washington man who was reported missing when he didn’t meet his hunting party has turned up safe at a Meagher County ranch in Montana.
The Independent Record reported Bradley Haddon of Ellensburg was in good condition after spending Saturday night outside.
He walked to the Rock Creek Ranch on Sunday afternoon.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff Leo Dutton said Haddon complained that his feet were sore, but said he was anxious to continue his elk hunt.
Members of the hunting party called the Broadwater County Sheriff’s Office when Haddon did not show up Saturday afternoon.
Officials from three counties searched the Magpie Gulch area where Lewis and Clark, Broadwater and Meagher counties meet.
