Much politically devised hoopla and angry finger-waving, plus threats of jail time have weighed heavily upon the campaign of distinguished former New York senator, Secretary of State, and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton. If, memory serves, the reviled former Watergate burglar boss and wicked President Richard Milhous Nixon qualified for a presidential pardon from his crony President Gerald R. Ford. Then, Mrs. Clinton deserves to be pardoned too, for all real or imagined infractions of the laws of emails gone awry by President Obama. “What’s the difference” ought to be invoked in the explanation for her pardon as it is fitting her dilemma.
