SEATTLE — King’s running back Caleb Perry rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries to help lead the Knights to a Cascade Conference victory over South Whidbey on Friday night.
Making his first career start, freshman quarterback Joe Green went 5-for-7 passing for 62 yards and a touchdown pass to wide receiver Jake Welch. Green also scrambled 13 yards into the end zone for another score.
King’s recorded 295 yards of total offense (214 rushing, 81 passing) and the Knights defense held South Whidbey to just 83 total yards.
