Packing party: A packing party to prepare shoe boxes with supplies for children around the world is set for 10 a.m. Oct. 10 at Christ the King Community Church, 825 Ave. D in Snohomish. Volunteers are needed to pack items such as school supplies, socks, a T-shirt or hat, toys and games as part of Operation Christmas Child.
