ARLINGTON — A developer has announced plans for a $100 million project near the Arlington Municipal Airport.
Chris Gayte of Bellevue-based GS Venture Partners bought the 54-acre property at 20015 67th Ave. NE that used to house Northwest Hardwood and a Weyerhaeuser log mill. He plans to build up to 1 million square feet of aerospace, manufacturing and industrial work space in 11 buildings, according to a news release.
The city expects that the project could create up to 2,000 new jobs.
Gayte aims to start clearing the site later this month.
