Just because it’s completely adorable that doesn’t mean it has to lack substance, and Seattle pop duo SISTERS just proved that with their first music video for their new single Queer Life.
The message is an important one and one that the band hasn’t been shy about when the topic comes up. That message is that times are changing and it’s time to “grow out of it.”
“Queer Life was written two days before the monumental SCOTUS decision to help set the stage for equality. This is an invitation to a movement. Help show those who feel they have to fight against love that they can #growoutofit” the band posted with the video on Youtube.
If you follow the Seattle music community you are sure to notice some great cameos in the new video: Jane Booker from The Mama Rags, Sol, Vicci Martinez and many others.
See the new video for “Queer Life” below and be sure to catch SISTERS with Deep Sea Diver at Neumos in Seattle on Nov. 5.
