Pumpkin Race in Snohomish
Pumpkins will be floated down the Snohomish River on Saturday. Anyone can “adopt” a racing gourd for $5 each at businesses around town to compete for cash and prizes. On Saturday, certificates to adopt a pumpkin will be available at 9:30 a.m. at the Riverfront Gazebo on Avenue A. The pumpkins will be plopped into the river around 10 a.m. to float with the tide towards the Avenue D bridge.
Spectators can get a good view from the Riverfront Trail.
