Free fun: Check out the Imagine Children’s Museum in Everett for free from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday. There are newly renovated exhibits, including new murals on the play stage and energy tracks that let kids experiment with rubber balls on a series of tracks.
Goblin Splash: Take your kids to play in the water from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the swim center at Forest Park, Everett. For ages 3 through 15. Enjoy some not-too-scary high jinks, play games and sample refreshments. Bring a can of food or monetary donation and swim fee-free.

Speed: Endurocross — off-road, indoor motorcycle racing — comes to Everett on Saturday. Riders navigate a track filled with obstacles, including boulders, logs, sand and a water hole. Spectators are welcome to watch practices for free from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Xfinity Arena in Everett. The main event, $10 to $45, is from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Get more info and buy tickets.
