SEATTLE — A 34-year-old gang member who goes by the nickname “Big Evil” has been charged with murder in the death of a 20-year-old in the Rainier Valley area of Seattle.
Michael David Henderson was charged with second-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm in the shooting death of Abubakar Abdi on Sunday night. Henderson remains in King County Jail on $2 million bail.
Seattlepi.com reported Henderson can be seen on surveillance footage arguing with Abdi, then pulling out a gun and shooting him before walking away with friends. The two reportedly did not know each other.
Police arrested Henderson Tuesday after witnesses identified him as the shooter.
Abdi died of a gunshot wound to the torso.
