MARYSVILLE — A 64-year-old man was arrested late Friday after shooting his son in Marysville, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at about 10 p.m. from the wife of the alleged shooter. She told the 911 operator that her husband had tried shooting her when she left.
Deputies found the man’s 30-year-old son with a gunshot in his abdomen at the scene in the 2800 block of 72nd Street in Marysville. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. His condition is not known.
The father was booked in Snohomish County jail on first degree domestic violence assault with a weapon.
