EVERETT — Led by Sam Hayward, who finished with six aces, 21 kills and 10 digs, Archbishop Murphy handed Cedar Park Christian-Bothell its second loss off the season. The Wildcats won the match 3-2 by set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-8, 19-25 and 15-12.
Both of the Eagles’ losses have come at the hands of Archbishop Murphy.
Cedar Park Christian head coach Marni Drechsel coached by herself for the first time since suffering a sudden cardiac arrest during the Eagles’ match against Archbishop Murphy on Sept. 24. The match was canceled and later rescheduled for Oct. 12.
