Speakers for and against Initiatives 1355 and 1401 will appear at a Sunday forum in Shoreline.
The event is at the Richmond Beach Congregational Church about a half-mile south of the Snohomish-King County line.
The forum is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the church’s Lena Voreis Suite, just off the upper parking lot of the church at the corner of Richmond Beach Road and 15th Avenue Northwest (1512 195th St. N.W., Shoreline).
Both initiatives are on the Nov. 3 general-election ballot.
Initiative 1366 would reduce the state sales-tax rate unless the legislature proposes a constitutional amendment to require a two-thirds legislative vote to raise taxes.
Initiative 1401 would ban the sale of the parts of endangered species.
