While The Herald is trying to convince Snohomish County voters to vote for the same old thing, I want to point out that maybe the “same old thing” is not the best for us. I know Marty Glaser personally, and have for many years. He is a man who stands up for what is right, even if it’s the unpopular thing. When he says he will be fair and honest with the voters, that’s exactly what he will be. Personally, he is a man that his wife, children, grandchildren and mother-in-law can be proud of and is an example to many others also. He not only has been involved in his kids’ lives such as being a Little League coach, he has been involved in teaching Sunday School and has been an example to my own kids. He is a man of faith who stands up for what he believes in, and that’s something The Herald failed to mention. He has exactly what it takes to be a great assessor and Snohomish County would be improved by voting him into this office — unless they really do want the “same old thing” and no improvement at all.
