Receiver B.J. Daniels is back with the Seahawks yet again.
Daniels rejoined the team Thursday when he was signed to Seattle’s practice squad. Daniels had been waived Tuesday to make room for running back Bryce Brown on the 53-man roster. Daniels cleared waivers and was placed on the Seahawks’ practice squad, with linebacker Tyrell Adams released from the practice squad to make room.
It’s been a yo-yo kind of season for Daniels, who also plays some scout team quarterback for the Seahawks. He made Seattle’s roster to start the season, was waived Oct. 12 as the Seahawks freed up roster space for linebacker Nick Moody and cornerback Crezdon Butler, re-signed three days later when fullback Derrick Coleman was suspended, waived again, and now finds himself back on Seattle’s practice squad, where he spent all of last season.
It’s a crazy life for fringe NFLers.
