Weekend best bets: Halloween, Rocky Horror, kids hike …

Spooky: It’s all Halloween all the time this weekend. If you need an idea for what to do, check out our huge list of family-friendly Halloween events all around the county. We also have a list of pumpkin patches and corn mazes or look for a haunted house near you.

Phantom: If you’d like something a little different for Halloween, what about a pipe organ and silent movie? The 1925 version of “The Phantom of the Opera” will show on Halloween night, accompanied by the organ at Trinity Episcopal Church. Get the details in our story.

Hike with kids: Check out a family-friendly walk from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Sunday at Spencer Island. The hike is with Hike it Baby, a group that encourages parents and kids to get outdoors. The hike is intended for kids in a carrier or those old enough to keep up with adults. Get all the detail here.

Time warp: Find your high heels and black vinyl. The cult classic “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” has a live cast at 9 p.m. Friday at the Edmonds Center for the Arts. It’s also playing at midnight on Halloween at the Historic Everett Theatre.

Sip: Celebrate Halloween, adults only, with a cocktail at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bluewater Distilling in Everett. Bartenders will be serving up blood-red cocktails all night long. Prizes for best costumes. Get the details.
