Regarding the Sept. 18 article, “Volunteer practices English with people from other countries”: A lot of people in this country believe that if you live in this country, you should be able to read and write in English. I also agree with that. Instead of just spouting out those words, Saul Snatsky, a volunteer, yet, is doing all he can to make this happen. He spends his own time practicing English with people from other countries. I say it is a job well done and I would like to thank Mr. Snatsky for caring enough to get involved and do what he can do to help, rather than complaining about it. That is how we get things done.
