BELLEVUE — Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Bellevue.
KOMO-TV reported that police say the 38-year-old suspect was arrested and treated for injuries at a hospital Thursday. He will be booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal crash.
Officers had responded Wednesday night to reports that a vehicle had crashed into a utility box.
Police arrived to find the body of a 35-year-old Bellevue woman who had been ejected from the vehicle. The driver had fled the scene.
Officers received a tip and located the man the next day. Police say he resisted arrest and had to be shocked with a Taser.
The relationship between the woman and the suspect is unknown.
