For book lovers: Seven authors will gather at 1 p.m Saturday at the Sultan Library. There will be an interactive panel and the authors will sign their books, which will be available for purchase. Sip: The Skagit Wine and Beer Festival is Saturday at the Best Western Plus Skagit Valley Inn &Convention Center in Mount Vernon. Drink wines, beers and spirits from regions throughout Washington. General admission is from 4 to 8 p.m., with VIP hour from 3 to 4 p.m. There will also be appetizers, chocolate and cheese samples. General admission tickets are $50 per person or $90 per couple.
