I am getting tired of reading letters from individuals regarding their belief and telling others how and where an individual should pray!
They cite different parts of the Bible, stating that an individual should go into a closet to pray.
As a Christian, I believe that God hears our prayers and doesn’t even care where or when we pray as long as we keep in contact with him through our prayers and he knows exactly where we are!
I firmly support the Bremerton coach for saying his prayers after the school games on the playing field. It was so uplifting to see how many of the students knelt with him to show their love for God. He first did this by himself, and it was the students’ choice to join him.
In this day and age, not many of our children know how to pray, as our churches are no longer filled and not many school children attend church services. As adults, we need to applaud and commend them for their strong support for the coach by joining him in prayer, not condemning and citing laws that prohibit the coach from praying.
