Saturday’s highlights on TV include:
“Jim Henson’s Turkey Hollow” is a holiday treat featuring some new puppet creatures. It follows a recently divorced father (Jay Harrington) who brings his two kids to a quaint town to celebrate Thanksgiving with his kooky aunt (Mary Steenburgen). The kids soon get swept up in the hunt for a legendary monster known as the Howling Hoodoo. 8 p.m., Lifetime.
“Free Birds”: Turkeys attempt to remove their kind from the holiday menu in this 2013 animated film, pointing out (quite correctly) that turkey is difficult to properly cook and bland to boot. 8 p.m., NBC.
“Tiny House World”: This new series explores domicile downsizing. 10 p.m., FYI.
