Probably the most interesting hockey news today revolves around the ever-rumored Seattle NHL expansion and Sodo arena situation.
Geoff Baker of the Seattle Times notes that the NHL still hasn’t voted on awarding expansion franchises to Las Vegas and Quebec City, and wonders if the league is delaying the vote until the Seattle City Council votes on Chris Hansen’s arena proposal that is scheduled to be decided by January.
