I would like to give a big thank you to Fire Station No. 19 in Silvana for quickly and efficiently rescuing me from the flood last Tuesday (Nov. 17.) My car stalled out on Pioneer Highway. Two of the firemen walked out to where I was sitting in my car to make sure I was all right and then waited with me until the hovercraft arrived. They helped me into a life vest and then into the hovercraft. After arriving at the staging area, I was taken to the ambulance to make sure I was really OK. My husband was waiting and we drove home. Thank you so much for making me feel safe.
