Tingstad and Rumbel: The Grammy award-winning duo presents a holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28 at the Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Every season for 29 years, Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel have been home for the holidays, creating a concert tradition.

Magical Strings: Celebrating 37 years of Celtic yuletide concerts, the Boulding family performs at 3 p.m. Nov. 28 at Redeemer United Methodist Church, 9900 NE Shorty Campbell Road, Kingston, Whidbey Island. For tickets, call 800-838-3006.

Everett Philharmonic Orchestra: Paul-Elliott Cobbs directs the orchestra in its second concert of the season, “Music for the Imagination,” at 3 p.m. Nov. 29 at Everett Civic Auditorium. The program includes works by Prokofiev, Rimsky-Korsakov and Tchaikovsky, as well as selections from John Williams’ music for “Star Wars” and music from “Frozen.” Casey Sim, 16 year-old pianist from Bothell, will perform a work by Chopin. Family tickets are $40 for four and individual tickets are $20, available online at www.everettphil.org.

Celtic Christmas Concert: Windham Hill recording artists Jeff Johnson (keyboards), Brian Dunning (flutes) and Wendy Goodwin (violin) offer a concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 30 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 21405 82nd Place W., Edmonds. Proceeds benefit the Chase Lake Community Safety Net program for children. Donations will be accepted at the door.

“The Coats”: A holiday show by this vocal band will benefit Lakewood High School’s jazz choir, “Swingbeat,” which opens the show at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Byrnes Performing Arts Center, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington. Tickets are $17.50. Bring a new or gently used coat to donate at the concert and be entered in a drawing for a prize.

Good Lovelies: One of Canada’s premier folk/country harmony trios, the Good Lovelies will perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. Toronto-based, the band formed in 2006 and since has received multiple high-profile awards including a Juno. Tickets are $15 to $29 at www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

Ian McFeron: Ian McFeron Band performs free 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 4, Third Place Commons, 17171 Bothell Way NE, Lake Forest Park. With another new album “Radio” just out, McFeron will be joined on stage by long time friends and musical accompanists Alisa Milner on fiddle, cello, and harmony vocals, Moe Provencher on bass and harmony vocals, and Aimee Zoe Tubbs on drums and harmony vocals.

Gypsy Soul: The duo Cilette Swann and Roman Morykit perform at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Tim Noah Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Tickets are $20 and can be ordered online at www.brownpapertickets.com.

Felix Cavalier’s Rascals: The iconic 1960s band performs at 8 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave. His hits include “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long,” “Groovin’,” “How Can I Be Sure,” “A Girl Like You,” “A Beautiful Morning” and “People Got to Be Free.” Tickets are $35 to $45. “Celebrate and Dance”: The Everett Chorale, celebrating its 50th anniversary season, performs at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 and 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. Tickets are $18, with discounts for students, seniors, military and groups. Under the direction of Lee Mathews, 80-voice chorale will perform choral music with a dance theme. Young dancers from The Dance School in Everett will perform scenes from The Nutcracker. “A Day for Dancing” Ballet and Sapience Dance Collective from Seattle has been commissioned to interpret the nine carols set to music by composer Lloyd Pfautsch in his cantata “A Day for Dancing.” The Choral Arts Woodwind and Percussion Ensemble will provide accompaniment. “A Feast of Carols”: Camano Cantabile Chamber Choir performs at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Admission is $15 or $8 for students.

Holiday Pops with the Cascade Symphony Orchestra: The orchestra performs at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 and 14, Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N. The Christmas performance will feature renowned euphonium soloist Adam Frey and guest conductor Bobby Collins. Tickets are adults, $27; seniors, $22; students, $15; children, $10. “Home for the Holidays”: Navy Band Northwest presents its free Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 16 at Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave. The performance will feature their jazz ensemble and rock band “Passage.” Music will include classics such as “Frosty the Snowman” as done by Harry Connick Jr., “Please Come Home for Christmas” as done by the Eagles, and many more timeless holiday songs. There will be a Santa Claus appearance and the United States Marine Corps will be accepting donations for Toys-for-Tots at the event. Seating is first-come, first-served. Seattle Men’s Chorus is “Home for the Holidays”: Director Dennis Coleman is pulling out all his “naughty and nice” song favorites and preparing for his final holiday season conducting the chorus. Featured songs include SMC’s “Ave Maria” and “Silent Night,” as well as new tunes such as “Text Me Merry Christmas.” The chorus sings at 8 p.m. Dec. 19 at Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave. Ticket prices range from $25 to $45. Celtic Christmas Music Concert by The Beggar Boys and Abigail Lennox: Holiday music from Ireland, Wales and Scotland, 3 p.m. Dec. 19, Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St., Edmonds. The Beggar Boys were founded in Boston in 2001 and have performed across the country.
